DeKalb County Hospice’s Live Music Program coordinates volunteer musicians who play weekly on Thursday mornings at The Cancer Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. They also volunteer their time at Kish Hospital, in patients’ homes, and at local skilled nursing facilities. Click here for more information about music therapy at DeKalb County Hospice |
Welcome!
April is national Health Care Decisions month. To help you make important decisions and find the appropriate forms you will need once you have made those decisions, click here. No matter what age you are you need someone to speak on your behalf if you cannot make health care decisions; an accident, a sudden illness, a terminal condition.
DeKalb County Hospice is a nonprofit community based hospice program that has been providing quality end-of- life care and bereavement support to our community since 1982.
This site has been designed to be a resource for those who are coping with a life limiting illness or who have questions about end of life care for others.
Our Mission
Our mission is to assist people to live with dignity and hope in ways that best meet their needs while coping with end-of-life issues, and to support grieving family and community members.
